A Graduates Call Part 5 (Lets thank God for
) Christian graduates must be hungry and thirsty for the Word of God and pray for illumination of the Holy Spirit to make Gods truths so real to them that they can enjoy and delight in all that God is calling them to do. They must go to Christ and petition, Lord teach me to pray! Christian graduates should rejoice in the Lord for all the doors that have been opened to them and praise Him for the enablement to have been found faithful to what God has given them to do up until now. God will continue to bless those who have determined in their heart to hear praise from God because of faithful stewardship. John Wesley was one man who heard praise from the Lord whom he served. He was born to a solid Christian family and graduated from a Christian college. Like some graduates, He was excited about Gods work, but had times of laxity in his religious affairs. It was not until he was challenged directly by Mr. Spangenberg about his relationship with Christ that he gave a full joyful surrender the Lordship of Christ. This completely changed this heart and purpose towards God, Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Bishop Ryles gave this assessment of John Wesley and the ministry to which God gave him stewardship over. John preached the gospel, honored Christ and did extensive good with his work for Christ. He was a bold fighter on Christs side, a fearless warrior against the flesh, the world and the devil. He was an unflinching adherent of the Lord Jesus Christ. He honored the Holy Word of God and let us thank God for John Wesley." We are very thankful for our Christian graduates as they make the wisest choice that they ever can make, grasping their calling. Many will thank God for putting His hand on their lives. |
